Shelley K. Rose Rose spearheaded the company's position as a primary provider of online information services to associations and membership-driven organizations. The success of her business planning and management is manifested by the company's 14-year track record of profitability and steady annual growth in revenue. Ms. Rose was profiled in Women's Business Minnesota, December 2003. She was also featured in Ventures magazine, April 2001, as one of eleven women to watch in fast-growing businesses, and in the Spring 2001 issue of Entrepreneurial Notes, a publication of the University of Saint Thomas' John M. Morrison Center for Entrepreneurship. A graduate of the University of Minnesota, Carlson School of Management, Ms. Rose has served on the board of directors of three small businesses, chaired the Small Business Development Committee for the Saint Paul Area Chamber of Commerce, and managed the membership database for the Minnesota Metro Chapter of the Executive Women's Golf Association. She also served on a technology commission put together by former St. Paul Mayor Norm Coleman. Ms. Rose is a 2000 graduate of the Leadership St. Paul program and a 2002 graduate of Leadership Minnesota. Ms. Rose currently serves on the board of directors for two small businesses. From 2000-2004 she volunteered on the Ramsey County Workforce Investment Board, serving as its chair-elect and chair in her last two years of service. She remains an active volunteer for the Saint Paul Area Chamber, and is a member of several organizations, including the American Planning Association, the American Society of Information Science, the International Association of Chiefs of Police, the Minnesota Chamber of Commerce, and the International Association of Law Enforcement Planners, and Rotary International. In addition to her business and volunteer activities, Rose enjoys golfing, boating and following the Minnesota Wild hockey team. She was also highlighted in Family Circle magazine and most recently in Woman's Day for her retreat experiences in the Boundary Waters Canoe Area on the Minnesota/Canada border. |
